Center for Advanced Technologies AMU offers dedicated hands-on workshops for high school students. Due to the nature of the Center’s research staff, these workshops are aimed at students considering pursuing degrees in chemistry, biotechnology, and related fields. Practical sessions are held in laboratories during school breaks and summer vacations.
Students will have the opportunity to learn basic methods for the synthesis, purification, and identification of chemical compounds and will be introduced to the specifics of laboratory work under the supervision of experienced mentors.
We can also organize field trips to provide insights into the operation of the research center and the implementation of research projects illustrating work in chemical or biotechnology laboratories.
Interested schools, educators, or parent councils are invited to contact us.
